Aslıhan Kazancı Studio is a collaborative practice that curates its team according to the specific needs of each project. AKS does not maintain a permanent team, instead working in close collaboration with architects, interior architects, graphic designers, curators, content developers, subject-matter experts, UX designers and technologists.

Aslıhan Kazancı is a designer and artist. She holds a degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University and completed her graduate studies in Exhibition and Experience Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), State University of New York. Since graduating in 2017, she has worked between İstanbul and New York, both as an independent designer and in collaboration with acclaimed studios.

Aslı places great importance on project-based research at the beginning of every project, using it as the foundation for developing authentic concepts. She believes in concept-driven design, where the concept guides design decisions and processes while remaining open to evolution throughout the project. Her work focuses on creating meaningful spaces and experiences that foster a sense of transformation for those who encounter them.

AKS currently operates across a diverse range of art and design projects between two dynamic cities: İstanbul and New York.
